Local Tech Entrepreneurs Try for Part of $2 Billion EdTech Investment

WHAT: Local entrepreneurs will make and launch new products for the huge educational technology market at Startup Weekend EdTech Sacramento. Investment in Education Technology in 2014 reached $1.36 billion in 2014 according to EdSurge. Some estimates place the global investment at $2 billion in 2015.

WHEN: Starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15 and continues till Sunday, May 17 to design, prototype and create business plans. Final presentations will be given at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and winners announced at 7:30 p.m.
